Histolysis empieza en 2014 siendo un proyecto de Ibai ( guitarrista compositor ) y Oihana ( voz ). Se conocieron y empezaron a crear temas en los que ponían cada uno ideas de sus gustos musicales y de sus ideales, dando así una atmósfera difícil de catalogar. Se podría decir que hacen "Death metal" con algunos momentos "black" .
